The microwave works very well; very pleased with how it has been running. I wish that the button placement were more consistent with prior GE models; I prefer having the fan and light options at the bottom. Also, the display of the clock is VERY bright - so bright that I had to purchase a film-like product to cover the display. Even with it, it still glows.

They changed the design totally, so nothing about it, not even the number display matches my stove/oven. It works totally differently than the one prior, which is ridiculous. Also, the template for drilling the holes on the top did not line up and the charcoal filter was not included and when looking it up to purchase, was not easily found for this microwave. I really don't like it at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
