Great microwave

I've only had microwave a few weeks, but so far, it works great. It's roomy and has nice, easy-to-read controls. The only problem, which is a small one, is the buttons are a little hard to push.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Turntable ring is very noisy - can't find replcmt

The turntable ring makes a lot of noise and we're having a hard time finding a replacement. The part # does not come up on the GE parts site.

IT FITS WHERE THE ORIGINAL UNIT WAS

This unit is ALMOST IDENTICAL to my original unit. They eliminated the vegetable cooking feature for fresh vegetables. The other issue is, they replaced the double light over the range with only one dim light to illuminate the stove top range. The button is still engineered for the double light but they didn't wire the unit for it. But it fits the kitchen.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst microwave oven ever

multiple failures from get go. first, the thermostat which shut off power. then,after repair, no heat.
difficult to schedule warranty service in Reno area, only worked for one minute in more than 2months.

The overhead microwave came with the home purchase. Overall,the appliance stood up to daily use and served us well for 6 years.

This is my third microwave of this type, so I am very familiar with this product. I have had no problems with any one of them. Obviously, I like this particular unit since I have had three of them. I would definitely buy another when the time comes.
