I had a GE profile before with many more fun features and it was much larger but this is what came with our house. The turntable sounds like it is grating while it rotates and there is no troubleshooting advice for that so I hope it is just new product stiffness otherwise I will have to place a service call. The 30 sec button doesn't seem to heat as well on this microwave as my other. Fan vent works well for the small size of the unit.

Been using GE microwaves for over 30 years with no functional complaints.
This one heats very poorly and unevenly despite a service technician assessment that claims it is functioning perfectly and implied user error.
Definitely putting a damper on my new construction home purchase.

Bought this last August to replace an old microwave. Fits the space great. Fairly easy home installation, just had a little trouble figuring out the exhaust for an in-room exhaust. Only complaint - for over the stove it should have a non-metallic handle - gets hot when cooking underneath and using the microwave.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The former GE model had a different arrangement of the off-on buttons and were more logical than this one...also reheat button was different....it's just okay, not better....

Poorly functioning microwave

Within a week of having this microwave, we noticed the protective layer on the inside of the glass door was wrinkled and had to request services. The tech was great, ordered a new door and installed it when we contacted once it was delivered. A few days before, the microwave made very concerning noises, too. He felt that the glass plate was not each to the microwave and order the real part. Everything seems to be working okay now, but I am very disappointed. This requires 2 half days off of work and I have little confidence in the product.
