Poor design

Pros: Well lighted, large produce drawers, deep door pockets, glass shelves.
Cons: Shelves nother adjustable, door pockets not adjustable, tall drink bottles will only fit in door or lie down on shelf.

We needed a large freezer for the extra unit and this model has it, with great refrigerator space. Our main GE is a double door with bottom freezer and that is also great.

They even have the audacity to devote a page to NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS..."The new high efficiency compressor may run faster and longer than your old refrigerator and you may hear A HIGH PITCHED HUM while it is operating. The dadgum thing is driving me crazy and if I could give it away or throw it away, I would. Don't waste your money on this one unless you want to GO CRAZY!!!

Veggie and Fruit Drawers

I think fruit and veggie bins are a little too deep as it is difficult to place milk, orange juice etc on the top shelf and if one moves the shelf down you lose a whole shelf.

I understand it runs longer than older models, but runs 40 minutes, off 20, starts again. Freezing contents in freezer, but temp varies from -5 to +20.

Purchased this ref. to replace the same model that I had for years and LOVED. What a disappointment. Though the overall size appears to be the same - the interior has been reconfigured - and not positively. The top shelf now has a piece that hangs down the middle so to put a few gallons of milk on the top shelf is very challenging. The configurations of the other shelving also is difficult. I am sorry I purchased this product.
