Loud noises. Not enough shelf space

I love the look of my fridge from the outside, but the shelves are awkwardly small. It’s really frustrating to put away a gallon of milk. My fridge makes noises all the time. I’ve never had a fridge that made this many noises
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's a really nice looking refrigerator for sure and the freezer space is great. I wish the design was thought out better for the refrigerator shelving. It seems like the crisper drawers are too deep, taking away from more practical shelf spacing.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good value but shelves too shallow and had to sacrifice one shelf to accommodate tall bottles.

GE 21 CU Foot

Nice looking refrigerator . . really like the textured finish. Bought this to replace a
GE unit we'd had for almost 30 years without issue! We really wanted the bisque finish and
those are very limited selection. Purchased this unit site unseen, just from the internet.
Inside shelving is very awkward. Much lack of space for taller items. Shelving on inside of door looks generous at first, but it's not what it appears. It's very limited in the amount of bottles, jars, etc. that fit on these shelves. Also pics look like shelving is more adjustable han they are. Very disappointing. I knew there were some issues prior to purchasing from reviews I had read and held off buying for over a year hoping GE would come out with a newer, updated bisque version. But that didn't happen and we got to the point we could not wait any longer. Went with the GE again rather than another brand because of our great experience with GE appliances being well made and reliable. I'm not a fan of stainless steel and the bisque color is what we wanted to purchase. We'll just have to adjust to the inconveniences of this frig and hope we get used to them.
