Great overall!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator after my old side by side died. What a great purchase! It has so much more room than my side by side did and I love the pull out shelves. I was worried at first that the freezer wouldn't have much room but it has plenty of space for lots of food.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We bought this a few months ago and we absolutely love it! It is very spacious and the lighting is wonderful. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

My Dream Frig

I'm not sure you want to hear from me. I have dreamed and visited my "dream frig" ever since French doors came out. To be honest, Frigidaire was not the particular brand. During the dream period ANY one would do, that DID NOT have all that stuff in the door. Didn't want it or need it. We have a free standing ice maker. Finally our frig died an un-natural death. I went to HH Gregg that Sunday afternoon. Miracle of all miracles my 'dream frig" was on sale, the exact size I wanted, the plain doors, everything exactly like I wanted. A couple of weeks after it was up and going, noticed icicles in the freezer right where to two top door came together. Finally after being passed around several times, I contacted Frigidaire and was given the names of 3 repairman in our area. The first two we could not get to return our call. The 3rd finally did. He showed up, and disagreed with my husband that the door was warped and ordered a replacement seal. Weeks later it finally came, he installed it. Then a couple of weeks after that my husband opened the freezer compartment and a sheet of ice dropped to the floor. the whole underside of the freezer has a sheet of ice on it. Called the guy back out, "Well I guess you were right." Ordered another drawer. A month or so later it finally arrived, but then he was sick for a week. When he finally showed up with it and opened the box, it too was bent. So back it went, and it's now been close to a month and still no drawer. But I do have a sheet of ice under my "dream refrigerator". You asked. I'm not happy. And am not sure I will be if and when it is fixed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not Good!

We purchased a new condo back in March and it came with a Frigidaire appliance package. After only 5 months of use the refrigerator already needs to be repaired! Even though it is covered it is still a hassle to get it repaired. Not very happy with this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love it, but be careful !

We purchased this fridge in August 2013. It's now November and we've had no mechanical issues.
Did lots of research before buying since we didn't have an emergency. Buyers' reviews on all brands were very disappointing.
This Frigidaire caught our eye on show room floor - we purchased on the spot. Love the sleek appearance and the roominess of fridge and freezer.
Caution: you must make sure you push the doors closed. I was used to slightly pushing old fridge's doors knowing they would close. For some reason you must make a deliberate attempt to push these doors shut.
One morning we found the freezer slightly ajar, enough to defrost food and melt ice. We just forgot to push hard on door.
Also, the ice maker will overflow and fall into the back of freezer when you open the freezer door. Just keep check and turn off when almost full.
Love the fridge....just make sure you close the doors.
