Overall Excellent Refrigerator

I own a variety of LG products, all of which perform well, so when in the market for a new refrigerator I definitely included LG in my search. After looking at a number of models and brands, I kept returning to this one; and, overall, I am pleased with my choice. Because I had had my old fridge so many years, I was so accustomed to where things were in it so it took a period of adjustment to be comfortable with the new one. Now that I have done that, I find I really like some of the arrangement differences in the LG. Three things I especially like about the LG are the "flexible" shelf in the refrigerator side, the water filter being very accessible, and the icemaker container, though smaller than my old unit, is larger than most of the other brands I looked at. Also, it makes ice quickly. After a few weeks use, the water dispenser stuck open and I could not shut it off, so I had to turn off the water at the source. There was lots of water to mop up, because the dispenser has strong output. A call to LG resulted in a technician coming out in a very reasonable timeframe. He found nothing wrong with the device, and it has not happened again...hopefully it never will. Though I love this refrigerator, it is not perfect. The icemaker dispenser, if not used in a while, sometimes has difficulty in actually dispensing. Removing the ice holder and shaking it up helps to get it working. Also, I found that first using the crushed ice feature loosens it up. Also, I now find the automatic door closing feature has stopped working regularly. I expect a call to LG service will be handled as well as the first time I needed them.

Excellent features

I have hed this LG Frig for about 1 month and so far everything is working great. The crisper compartments work fine and the water and Ice features are good as well. It keeps the temperatures exactly where they are set. And It is very quiet, you hardly hear the motor running.

The shelving set up is very efficient. I can barely hear it running. But, the icemaker is quite loud, both dropping the cubes and the water refilling.
I chose this model because of the attractive dispenser, digital display, as well as it's ability to fill a pitcher.

The space in the refrigerator is great. It holds a lot of items. I can see what is in it real good. The ice maker is in a good place so it does not take up space in the freezer. It has shelves that I wanted.

Perfect features at a great price

Quality of the product is well above expectations while the amount of shelf and drawer space is perfect. Placement of filter is easy to get to for replacement yet does not take up any storage space. Overall this Refrigerator has exceeded my expectations. Can't go wrong with an LG Product.
