Not worth the money

I bought the Samgung curved soundbar to go with my 65 inch curved smart tv to provide a enhanced audio experience in my family room. I bought a high priced HDMI cable to use to connect the tv and soundbar to provide the best sound. Fact is I cannot sync the audio and video and it is a terrible experience watching a high priced tv and sound system under perform. I have read and re-read both the tv and soundbar manuals trying to find a solution without success. There is supposively an adjustment you can make which only delays the sound, there is not enough adjustment to advance the sound. The adjustment should have a center mark where you could adjust the audio either way not just to delay the sound, I have the opposite problem. Very u satisfied and I would not recommend the soundbar to anyone a complete waste of money!!

Disappointing support and functionality

I bought this to go with my curved 65 inch TV. Fit is nearly perfect but functionality could not be figured out even after two on line sessions with the experts. The source of my frustration is using the HDMI ARC feature and regardless after swapping out two new ARC rated HDMI cables, functionality still couldn't be enabled. TV connect works, Digital Audio Works, Bluetooth works but HDMI ARC does not. My fear is a defective issue with TV or Sound Bar and frankly I gave up and use the TV connect for functionality. Disappointed with clarity of documentation, the TV and Sound Bar menu features related to this connectivity and mostly with the online support. They kept pointing me to links that simply didn't resolve the problem.
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wondedrful sound all around

Had to buy the curved high end sound bar to go with my new 65" curved screen HDTV. It would have been a sin not too!

Great idea

This sound bar looks outstanding. Two things are at issue;
1. When I push the sound bar under the Samsung TV as instructed, the remote for the TV does not work. Apparently the sound bar interferes with the on/off switch under the TV.
2. When the TV is shut down the sound bar reverts to defalt settings and needs to be reset to TV every time.

Just bought the curved surround along with the Samsung 65" curved TV. I ABSOLUTELY love both. We have a huge great room and I've put up with wires all over my hardwood floors, under rugs etc. with the surround bar I get all the effects without the wires and all the speakers. If Samsung could figure out how to add Wireless speakers behind my head, I would have the full theater effect.
Pros: no wires
I would recommend this to a friend!
