Durable, long lasting

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this phone for over 3 years. YES 3 YEARS. One of the best phones I've had. With its case (black with line crossing design and kick-stand), it has survived every hard hit, and their case even saved it from a puddle. My phone survive being dropped, flung, thrown, tossed, slammed, bounce, most of which were accidents. They worst that'll happen, breaks into 3 (4) parts: phone, battery, backing, and case. They screen never cracked (can't say they same for my sister or my dad, both of which were my sister's fault).
When it got my new phone, it feels from 10 feet up, landed on the volume buttons 3 feet from ground on a corner, bounced and proceeded to then ground, bounced when it landed, and was in there 4 aforementioned parts. I put it together and turned on, no screen fracture. They worst: there little volume guard on the case broke.
If loved them removable battery.
They hardware started to breakdown after 3+ years: there power button had to be pressed hard and right, speakers started to go-its could not make calls or Skype. And it was having a hard time keeping the micro-USB connected during file transfers.
They software- it came with 8gb, but after 3 years only could use 4gb. System data/updates took over half of internal storage. If once had over a dozen apps, but after 3 years, it had under a dozen downloaded apps.
I love the ease of use. Managing files, apps, storage, was easy. Everything was right there. No clicking for info that should be pervelent to begin with. Standard apps that is don't need to download (ie music and pictures)

Very 'cute' little phone. It served me well for over 3 years, above and beyond its expected lifespans. "Strong like ox, tough as boulder." I'll could sing praises all day.
I'll wish the new phones have 4 off-screen buttons (back, home, task manager, three dots-settings), phone jack on top, removable battery and extra storage. And built durable for long use and abuse.

the speed of this pone is outstanding with its dule core qualacom cpu clocked at 1.5ghz and its adrieno 220 gpu. it runs most games at 60 fps. the talk quality is great. android 4.1.2 runs well on this phone. everything scrolls without hesitation. battery lasts under heavy use about 2 days. what more to say? its a great phone.

The LG Lucid 2 is a mid level phone. It does not attempt to try to be what it is not. In this instance you get excatly what you pay for and that is a lot. It comes with Android Jelly Bean which sets it apart in the mid value range. It has two modes of operation and though most will use the standard mode, there is is a mode for beginners so that they can become familiar with the phone. The only thing I didn't like was that it did not allow transfer of applications to the SD card. So if you like to oveload your phone with applications, the onboard storage will qickly run out. If you wand a great phone at a great price that does EVERYTHING you want. This is the phone for you!!!

This is my first "smart" phone and I've had a number of problems learning my way through any of the features. The user guide that came with the phone is so basic that it doesn't even tell you how to down-load an APP! My grandson had to tutor me! Where's the details on how to use all the features?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I am not a good cell phone user, there are many features someone else had to show me what they were and how they worked, the ones I use are very simple once you understand them, got me out of a jam twice because I got lost.

I have had this phone for about three days. not to long. and the phone is awesome. fast, smooth and surprisingly good screen quality. the RAM is about gig. so you can do what you want with ease. there is some cons. and those are the camera. only five megapixels. not great for a smart phone. the phone is really light. and ca easily be mistaken or misplaced. this can be fixed easily. other then that its a great phone. i am an experienced smartphone user. for those who are wondering
