Exterior holding up and super neat

The design is simple, elegant; the chrome holds up against staining/discoloration from use and doesn't get marred. More importantly, it's functional. Like the blue interior liner and the way garbage bags can fit snug (with the help of the tuck-away hole in the blue liner), though we love the simple human j trash bags - fits perfectly and never ever rips.

this was a gift for my son. As my husband and I have enjoyed ours for over 15 years I just knew my son would love his. As a matter of fact, he asked me where he could get 'the one dad bought, I really like that one'.

Our garbage can was on its last leg and the soft close was long gone. Purchased this is a gift for my mother and it’s the best thing I have ever bought her. No smudges, no loud bang upon closing, and very roomy. Well done simplehuman!

My family has been using this 38L beautifully for a decade. My old model is still working, but I decided to get a new one because of the built up garbage gunk on the inside lid. Absolutely no fault of the old can, I got a fresh clean can. Moving my old one maybe to garage. Thinking about putting a film gaurd on the inside lid of the new can, to hold off some of my family's abuse.
Slightly worried the new "blue" type plastic liner will not be as durable as the old black plastic. Time will tell...
