Great design

I'm very happy with the design and function of this trash can. It fits up against the wall and accepts standard 13 gallon kitchen trash bags. The removable liner makes bag changes quick and easy.

I didn't know a trash can could be so nice and amazing and make me happy every time i use it. I was so skeptical about spending such big money on just some bin that holds trash but I WAS WRONG... This is a best investment. I've been recommending it to all my friends.

I really like the 38L rectangular step can's removable tub. Should there ever be a leak in a bag, I can take the bin outdoors to hose it down and clean it. Preferable to trying to hose out the interior of the can to clean it. The exterior stainless steel shell looks nice in my kitchen.

Thank you so much for your great Customer Service. This model is fantastic. No more plastic foot pedal to crack. The stopper to keep the lid opened is fantastic. The previous version kept falling off. I am completely satisfied and would recommend this product. In fact 3 people were so impressed with the Simplehuman 38L step can, they got one too.

Best design ever. Best quality ever. Best customer support ever. Best product development and improvements. I had the 2007 version of this trash can and thought it was perfect. When I got the new one and saw the little tweeks that were made I said to my friends, “Run, don’t walk and get this trash can. They perfected perfection. Fixed things I didn’t realize I’d love even more. The lid lock, little ledge to hold the inner can up to change the bag and new silence when the lid closes makes me feel like I have a million dollar trash can!!! I know this sounds extreme, but I can’t stop showing people my trash can!
