I had first seen a simplehuman can at an airbnb but should have taken a photo. What i loved on that can was the ease of putting in the can liner, having it held in place with a lip and quiet close.
I thought i had ordered the right one on line, but alas, got the 38L which I did not like because i could not get the liner to hold; it was like any other can to me. I called and the customer service was FABULOUS. They walked me through getting the correct one I saw (45L) that has the lip to hold the bag. I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT. I don't care what it costs, order one for yourself and one for a gift. I could have even gone with a larger size, too, and we are two people. It holds an incredible amount. Also - it was free returns! Really? Yes, really!
Very happy with my 45L, not so much with the 38L.
I think their online descriptions need to be tweaked because so many choices and easy to make a mistake. Call them for help in choosing.
