We had one just like it for over 10 years. Recently the lid broke off and so we purchased the exact same one because we liked the size of it and how easy it is to use.

After having a basic trashcan for years, I finally decided to try something a bit more rigid and appealing.
I did some research and felt the Simplehuman 38L was a fit for me.

Best Trash Can I Have Had

This was a replacement for my simplehuman trash can that I had for over 15 years which survived 3 children and lots of use. Somehow the grandkiddies managed to break it. I wasn't crushed because i figured it was time for a replacement anyway.
I love the new design--it's even stronger and seems to be a little bigger. If I get another 15+ years out of this one, I'll be a happy camper. Just a great product!

This is my second step can from Simple Human. This step can is the perfect size for my kitchen. The other step can I have the plastic lid broke after many years of use. Love the finish. The new one is so much better made with a metal lid and looks like it will last a very long time.

Spot On Perfect

Bought this because old plastic trash can was constantly moving around and lid would hit wall. This product doesn’t move and the inset lid goes straight up, so you can put it up against the wall without marring. Thank you Simplehuman!
