Better than the previous Omron ped

I bot this over a year ago to replace an older Omron model that I lost. It took some getting used to and time to set up but so far it's been working like a charm. And I'm in the gym doing cardio and strength training 5+ days a week, plus lots of hiking on the weekends. It probably gets more sweat on it than it should but I've never had issues; unlike the previous model I had. I've had a few hicups w/ uploading the data but I think it was more a website issue than the ped issue. The ped has performed well and the battery has a long life.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I received this pedometer as a Christmas gift and up until a couple of weeks ago it worked fine. I tried to change my weight and some of the other required information and nothing will enter. The lb and kg mode keep flashing and "mode" and "memory" buttons won't change anything. I realize that this is an inexpensive pedometer but it should work better and longer than this.

Do not waste your money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a different pedometer from Omron for many years which was a great product. I am sorry I bought this product and am so dissatisfied with it I plan to throw it away and get something from another company. It is not user friendly, hard to program, read and download. Save your money and find something else!

Last month I purchased this product. I am using it. However, Transferring Data to the online solution is not easy. Registering is complicate. Clear and easy instruction is not good.

A very accurate and sensitive pedometer. Reads my steps whether speed walking or casually walking. Found that it counts fast steps best when clipped to my waistband in the back by my spine. Only thing of concern is that the device is not waterproof (as Omron warns) and I ruin the first one when it got wet with sweat because I forgot the clip and stuck it inside my waistband. Leave it sticking out or in the pocket. .

wont download

I got this through my job to help keep track of my steps. But when it came time do download the information for work it wouldn't download. I even had it hooked to the computer for 3 hours waiting, and it would just say downloading. No hour glass, no spinning circle, no moving lines, nothing. I would not recommend this product.

Have had Omron pedometers in the past and loved them. This one is terrible..it is so inconsistent with downloading. Sometimes it downloads fine and other times it just won't download. Cannot rely on it.

I bought this model about a year ago after I accidentally ran my first Omron model through the washerlost the 2nd one! I've worn it consistently and find it to be reliable. (I purchased a high-tech fitness tracker but found it to provide me no more value than this Omron and returned it. However, the website is sort of archaic and I do seem to recall that I had some issues setting it up. AND I am on the website tonight trying to figure out why it suddenly gives me error messages when I try to download. However, it has worked well for a year and I am hopeful I'll be able to resolve this issue.
