Overall great machine

I love this machine - with the exception of the drying. My top shelf dishes still are damp when I open the door. SUPER quiet, TONS of room, clean lines.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Style/Design
Cons: doesn't dry all of the dishes
I would recommend this to a friend!

Night and day difference. My old dishwasher made some much noise. I had to turn up the radio or TV in order to hear it. My LG dishwasher is nice a quiet. I love the fact that the controls are hidden and that it is nice and quiet. I don't really like the fact the the bottom loader fall off its track a lot of the time when I pull it out to load. But all and all, it is a great dishwasher.

I love this dishwasher! No heating coil, so lower energy bill. Dishes still come out completely dry. Glasses and stemware come out without spots, as do dishes. I love the 'top rack only' feature for those days when you don't cook or have few dishes. It will clean only the top rack of dishes. This rack also drops down and I can put dinner plates up there to be washed.
The only thing LG needs to fix is the silverware compartments. There are 3 pieces to it that seem to come apart to easy. Maybe it's something that I am doing wrong, and I will update if I fix it. Otherwise, great dishwasher, I just wish I had purchased it sooner!

Nice Dishwasher

I'm glad I purchased this dishwasher. It is so quiet, I forget it is running. I do find that it leaves spots on things most times, so I'm a little disappointed w/that. One of the selling features was that it wouldn't leave spots; however, the few spots it does leave isn't enough to spoil my overall satisfaction with this product.

Great Dishwasher

I have only had this dishwasher for a few days and so far I love it. It is so much more quieter than the other dishwasher we had. It has a large capacity and is VERY easy to operate. Also, installing it was a breeze. The only thing I would change is the time it takes to run a cycle, which is 2 hours. But, if you run it right before going to bed, you have nothing to worry about.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
Cons: time to run a cycle

Almost Perfect

This dishwasher is very close to being perfect.
I love the fact that the heating element is not exposed, and that it has a stainless basket, and the machine runs very quiet, and with having small children the controls are hidden on top of the door. Thank you.
The negatives, in my opinion, are that there is not an "efficient cycle" or a "quick wash" setting. This would minimize the length of time it takes to wash, as i always rinse my dishes first. 2 hours to run is way too long. Secondly, the bottom loader easily comes off track unless you are pushing it in with even pressure on both sides. Especially with a full load. I am almost completely satisfied. "Good job LG.

So quiet

I really like the quietness of my dishwasher, but I don't understand why it takes 2 hours to run a regular load. It seems to me that the energy star rating is reduced by the amount of electricity it takes to run a dishwasher for 2 hours! Dishes are clean, but after two hours they should be. I would like to have a "light" wash setting that goes through the entire cycle.

Regretting my purchase

I am so disappointed in this dishwasher. The dishes do not get clean. You must use the sanitary rinse for them to get clean and that doesn't always do the trick. This dishwasher was very expensive when compared to others, and I don't think it was worth the extra money because it does a horrible job. What is a dishwasher that does not fully clean the dishes? A non-functioning dishwasher. One I wish I did not own. I totally regret purchasing this dishwasher. My advice to anyone looking to buy a new dishwasher: Do not buy an LG.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
