Great style - quiet &dependable

The dishwasher was an upgrade for us. It's so quiet you can barely tell its on. No more exposed buttons showing or accidentally pushed.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality

I just love the look of my new dishwasher. It is so sleak and easy to keep the front looking good. It is soooooooo quiet ,you can't hear it at all, even whille in the kitchen!
But, I am having a hard time trying to get it to clean the dishes on the top shelf. Please help. Have tried a few of your ideas but nothing seems to change the results.

Quiet & cleans well, but smells

We've had our new dishwasher for 1 year now. Looks great. VERY quiet. Cleans well. In the past few months, however, we've noticed a bad smell when we open it after cleaning - don't see food trapped anywhere. We'll try running baking soda in it as suggested by Internet articles.

Very nice dishwasher with the option to only wash the upper rack. Perfect for the 2 of us to use until we have guests and then use both racks. Very quite also.

Love this dishwasher! So-o-o quiet, you have to put your ear next to it to hear if it is running! Dishes come out spotless every time with Cascade powerball detergent. This replaced a 39 year old dishwasher which was very loud, though cleaned my dishes very well. It finally died. I love the hidden controls and sleek look. Hope it lasts a long time too!

Quiet enough for sure! Cleansing needs improvement. Too many dishes have to be re-washed. Bottom rack needs stops to prevent it from dumping onto the floor when pulling it out to remove or place dishes within. Takes a long time to complete a full cycle. Hugh capacity!

Cleans beautifully, dries perfectly and is exceptionally quiet. The door is not counter balanced properly and will thump on the floor if not manually lowered. There should be a light to indicate that the cycle is completed. If left overnight, you don't know if it's completely finished.

poor choice

Sometimes we just make bad choices in our lives. This dishwasher is one of mine. It's only 1 1/2 years old and today the repairman said the motor is locked and has to be replaced. Over the last year various parts of the cheap plastic interior have fallen off and/or broken. Just last week the upper spray arm fell off and I had to re-do the load. I never understand why well-respected companies risk their reputations on such inferior models - I know I don't think the same of LG as I did before. Oh, and by the way, my neighbor bought the same model just weeks before I did and she had so much trouble, including a new motor, that the company finally replaced it. Just saying!
