Love the look except for the gray sides, the interior is great,lots of room. holds the temp very well. biggest complaint is that it's not quiet as advertised has a loud whine (hum) QUITE ANNOYING. except for that would recomend it.

Some reviewers have commented on the type of noise coming from this unit. Aside from the low hums common on all fridge's from the compressor and internal air-moving fans (and the LG seems no worse than any other in this regard) this unit has a fan on the condenser coil. It's at the back bottom on the right side (when facing the back). It produces a fan-like (not hum-like) noise- it's a moderate speed fan. In my kitchen with a wood floor that probably amplifies it I can hear it easily, whereas I can hear none of the hums from the compressor or internal fans. It doesn't seem any particular design effort was made to dampen the noise from this fan. My wife is not bothered at all about this, but it annoys me. Just to be sure this wasn't a defect in my unit I measured the sound level of other fridges at the store- they were the same (I'm an engineer :-)).
We'll probably keep the fridge because it's beautiful and it's features are much nicer than other brands. But I would suggest LG look into making this particular fan quieter.

Great Replacement for Old Refrigerator

Excited to have a new, updated refrigerator. Chose
the stainless model with bottom freezer. Contents of refrigerator easy to see, eye level. Avoids bending down to reach and guessing where items are. Large crispers with individual controls. Digital temperature settings for freezer and main compartment. Cool ringing alarm for open door.
Convenient, useful pull out tray and bin divider in
freezer. Not noisy. Looking forward to using the ice maker when hooked up. Did research before buying,model was recommended. Good Choice!

LOVE THIS REFRIGERATOR

I've owned this refrigerator for 6 months now and totally enjoy it's many wonderful features. Never had a lower freezer before and find it very convenient with pull out trays and large storage below. Refrigerator is easy to access with double wide superb layout with labeled drawers and bins for most used foods. Shelves are adjustable for any size bottle or box. Interior lighting is excellent as are the buttons on the outside of the door for easy access to features. Enjoy that the unit can be set to beep when door is left open too long - saving energy. Only difficulty is removal of ice cube storage bin as the bin door is difficult for me to open. Dispensers work beautifully though. I would strongly recommend this refrigerator (and have already) for anyone looking for an efficient, cost/energy saving, well designed and well priced refrigerator/freezer.

Very Stylish With Lots of Room

We've really enjoyed our LG refrigerator. It looks great in our kitchen and holds lots of groceries in the top and bottom. The lighting is great, and we really appreciate the alarm. The ice maker holds about ten pounds of ice, so we will probably never run out. All of the drawers are large and very deep enabling us to keep vegetables from our garden fresh. Also, the ample space in the door is so helpful and convenient for condiments, eggs, and large dairy products. Thank you LG for making an excellent product.

LG is nothing but trouble

Yes, it looks nice has good features but it doesn't work. Had the repairman out over half a dozen times, it's even been replaced once and two out of two LG refrigerators have been nothing but trouble. The coldest the fridge will get is 40 degrees, doors don't work, it leaks, ice maker doesn't work (been replaced twice), drawer doesn't work properly, ice build up in the back of the freezer, not frost but icicle type ice build up. The list goes on and on and let's not forget all the time I had to miss from work to sit at home and wait for the repairman to show. I truly regret purchasing an LG. Fortunately the dealer that sold it to me agrees this LG is another lemon and allowed me to exchange it for another. From my LG experience, I went with a different brand. I'll never purchase another LG or recommend LG to anyone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Excellent Refrigerator

This refrigerator is super. It not only keeps your food in excellent condition, but it's roomy, very well constructed and the shelving is excellent. The ice maker works great. I love this refrigerator and in the future would purchase another LG.
