Runs quiet, maintains constant temperature, easy to clean, drawer operates smoothly. No negatives on this machine. Looks great. Replaced a double door (dumbest design ever created for a fridge) with this unit and wish I had done it sooner.
Pros: Quality, Features/Settings, easy to use, Performance, Style/Design

We purchased this refrigerator to replace a leaking older side-by-side fridge that was here when we moved in. I did a fair amount of research, and found that the through-the-door ice and water was the most repair-prone feature. This was the best-reviewed fridge in our price range that didn't have that feature. I also really wanted this configuration. I am really happy with it - there is much more interior space than in the old side-by-side that was the same exterior size.
Pros: Quality, easy to use, Style/Design

Excellent refrig/freezer. Built solid, very quiet, excellent controls and lots and lots of room for food and freezables. Have always had LG phones and decided to try their refrigerators. So far I'm very happy with the unit. Love seeing all my food at my eye level where you use the most not the freezer. Excellent room in the freezer also.

Noisy!!

I bought this fridge a few weeks ago after reading good reviews on-line. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the fridge because it is extremely noisy. There is a high pitch sound that starts every time the fridge starts a cooling cycle (every 20-30 minutes). The sound starts very loud and then subsides a bit.
This fridge is MUCH louder than the 17 year old fridge that it replaced.
If noise is not an issue for you, e.g., because the fridge will be not be in your main living area, then I would recommend it. But if it is in your main family room, avoid this one at all cost.

Great space in this refrigerator

This refrigerator has a great deal of space, and is well organized. I love the amount and variety of items that fit into the door bins, 2 liter bottles, a gallon of milk, juice bottles, condimant jars of every size and shape. The doors alone hold 60% of my items. This refrigerator has a large meat drawer and 2 larger than normal crisper drawers. The freezer has a pull out wire drawer and a big main drawer that allowes you to organize your frozen items. The refrigerator kicks off when the door is opened to save energy. Great buy, super happy with this model.

Awesome fridge. better than expected. Went from white on white side by side to the Stainless Steel bottom freezer. Have it open on the right to make sense in my kitchen. I have more room in the door than I imagined. Lots of ice. Lots of freezer storage. Could not be happier. And for cleaning, olive oil on a soft clean cloth. Better than the more expensive stuff ( and found the suggestion on the internet)

Best capacity for the size

I purchased this unit as it had the most cubic feet for the size that fit my space. I am very pleased with this LG product. It is spacious and very easy to organize. The refrigerator door and freezer drawer close automatically and firmly! __ a feature my previous unit did not have which caused problems. Even with the large ice bin, there is still ample freezer space. I wish there were digital temperature displays which I had before. The stainless steel finish does not show fingerprints which was a concern when I selected that finish. I especially like the open door/drawer buzzers sounding intermittently and not continuously.
