I was looking for a good home safe that was small enough to fit in a closet but also offered effective fire protection. We simply use the space for documents so we didn't need it to be big enough for guns or secure enough for jewelry.
The safe is sturdy and has an excellent seal - the only knock I have is the dial - it's cheap plastic that is slightly annoying to line up correctly.
