Most safes are not combination. I did not want to worry about a battery or power source. After spending a lot of time reading about small combination safes on the market, I decided on the Sentry Safe which also has good fire and waterproof features which also was a priority.
Just got the safe, but I am very pleased with the safe. Very easy to get in with the combination. Nice to have a back up key.
Only complaint is the condition of the box when it arrived. The packing was good but there was a
hole in the side of the box. It ended up being ok, but it’s hard to quickly check a 125 lb safe when it is delivered.

The safe is a great size. Mechanism works well.Includes file storage bin and tray which take up the entire space inside. No room for anything else, but storage space is good.
Packaging the safe comes in is poor. Corrugated cardboard with foam inserts on corners and bottom. Nothing to protect top and sides of safe. Mine was damaged on the top. Large "Wamo" dent by a pointed object left a 1/4" indentation on the top of the safe. Check your box before you accept the package.

The safe is exactly what I needed, and I really like it. On its journey to my house, it was dropped onto the top right back corner, rippling the case. Not enough for me to expect a 150lb replacement, but certainly should have been scratch-and-dent priced.

The safe feels cheaper compared to a model that I have from the 1990s. The latch handle and combination dial are now completely plastic and it feels flimsy. The older model had all metal components instead. Sentry Safe should be careful that they don’t prioritize short term profits with a cheaper and inferior feeling product over quality and a good reputation.

safe is great, handle could have been better.

product looks good, but the handle feels cheap and my concern is if it breaks. Also, I feel there should have been a space in all 4 corners and 4 bolts for more security. What happens if the handle breaks, because again I feel that it's a cheap plastic handle. And get rid of the clicking when turning the dial.
