My Freezer

I went to the store in town and looked at a lot of freezers but I kept going back to the whirlpool freezer. I liked it because it wasn't too big but not too small. The other feature I liked is that it saved energy and it was not frost free. I think the freezers that are frost free make the food taste different. I really love the whirlpool freezer that I have and thank you.

This freezer went down to the set temp overnight and the contents froze within hours. It has worked well since. This is supposed to be a frost free freezer but I have noticed frost building uo on one of the shelves. I haven't taken time to check to see if we should redistribute the contents for better circulation so that it does the defrost better. Time will tell on how that works. We've only had it a month or so.

Better then Chest Freezer.

What I love about my new upright Whirlpool upright freezer is that I now open up a freezer that I can actually see what I have stored,unlike my old chest freezer which food stayed in the bottom for years because it was just too hard to get to the food. This freezer is very quiet and freezes the food perfectly. Next time I will buy a bigger one though because I bulk save food the freezer is too small for large food storage. What is bad about this freezer is the very bottom storage. It should of been built with a big drawer instead of the gate in front. Also this freezer is not a completely frost free. You will get frost and ice on every shelf but this does not bother me at all. For the price of this freezer it will serve your family very well and I and happy with my purchase.
