We bought a new whirlpool freezer last month after our old one went on to freezer heaven (it was also a whirlpool that we owned for 23 years).

Seems small for a 16 cu ft, you sure you measured right. Middle shelf didn't even sit on the supports.

I love my new freezer. Having a light inside was a perfect addition. I never hear it running but it keeps the foods frozen great. Setting it up didn't take long for it to get cold enough to put foods in it. i would recommend this to all my family and my friends if they want a great quiet freezer.

I am very happy with my freezer. It has enough room for all the food I want. It has lots of shelves to organize things, to find things at a glance. The price was the best for this size product.

Upfight Freezer--Why Did we wait so long?

WE have wanted an upright freezer for a while, but it wasn't until our second new freezer gave in after 3 years dies. We got tired of the cheap imports and decided we were going to our tried and true appliance maker...Whirlpool. So far, its working great. It was immediately cold after plugging it in. It came well packed and easy for me to unload myself. Its so easy to find things now and you don't have to unload the whole top of the freezer to find things. And we finally have the reserve shelf for those items we make that we need immediate freezer space. A good choic e for us.

Whirlpool 16 cu ft upright freeser

Was time to replace my 30 year old freezer and this is just perfect. On saleenergy star qualified and a quick freeze option. It has manuel defrost so food doesn't get that freezer burnt taste. Had this unit for 2 months it's quiet, nocomplaints.

I bought this freezer in February of 2014 and I love it. It freezes great and fast, and has a lot of space on the shelves and in the door shelves. I would recommend this freezer.
