Keeps cool with a tight seal

The freezer is well organized and stores food for easy access. The seal stays tight and frost free. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Easy to assemble

Came wrapped in plastic with removable parts and instructions inside. Needed a screwdriver to put the handle on, but could have used a butter knife if a screwdriver wasn't available. Little "caps" to cover the handle ends to give it a seamless aesthetic look. Very easy to assemble and looks just as described. Even the warranty card wasn't complicated.Service set-up was great too. (Check with your local utility company for removal of an old appliance, I got a rebate on my bill.)It replaced an old not "frost-free" freezer that was a hassle to deal with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Its so quiet!

We had an old freezer that made quite a bit of noise. Our new Whirlpool is so quiet and I like the interior design of the shelves,I seem to have more room.We are very pleased with our investment,the price was good as well.We probably could have saved more going through a big BOX store but we prefer to honor local small business and are overall very happy with the purchase.

This is the only freezer I could find with adjustable shelve

We bought this freezer a few weeks ago and I loved it from the minute we brought it home and I began filling it up with food from our chest freezer. I love the upright freezer because you can organize and I can easily reach everything.

Frost Free Freezer

Bought this freezer this summer for all of our garden produce and could not be happier. It was a good purchase and really like that it is a frost free appliance. Keeps everything very cold and in good condition.

Good Basic Freezer

We bought this freezer online because it was similar to one we had purchased in 2009 after our old freezer quit working during a severe ice storm here in Western Ky. However it is not exactly as that one. This one does not have a wire basket in the bottom. Instead it has a just a wire face which lowers down to put items behind. Smaller items tend to slide out from underneath the face and makes it hard to put anything down there. Larger items are fine but I prefer a full basket. Other than that, it appears to be a functional basic upright freezer and seems to run quietly. It is self defrost which is a good option to have. It is in a garage, so if it is loud, I would not really know it unless I just happened to be in the garage when it was running. All in all, would recommend it to friends or family.
