This printer is not a year old and won't print. Have put in new ink, cleaned the heads and nozzles consistently. Never had to do this so often with other printer products.

like many others have stated here, this printer worked fine for a while and then just this past week it stopped printing. First the black ink and then the rest of the colors. I put new ink cartridges in and cleaned the nozzle several times to no avail. My worst Epson printer ever (and I've used them since the 90s).

XP410...the best home printer. FOR REAL!

I work in a consumer electronics retail store and I am well versed on the difference of the printer brands and models. This particular model is spot on perfect for it's intended customers. Students, families, small business owners and travelers. The print quality is INSANELY good for documents and more than acceptable for photos. The printer was easy to set up using WiFi(following on screen instructions) and use with my Macbook and iPhone. EpsonConnect cloud printing was also very easy to set up. Although, the settings of it were a bit difficult to navigate but it functioned well. I love everything this printer brings to the table. Other printers at this price point don't stand a chance.

So far so good

Bought this printer yesterday and installed it last night. It easily connected to my wireless network and easily printed form my I Phone (this is the feature I was looking for). But connecting my laptops and desktop computers was not so easy. The instructions (as most are these days) were cryptic and not detailed enough on when to hook up the computers via cable during wireless installation. It took me three tries on the first one. But when I figured it out the other two when quickly. Wait until instructions prompt you to choose "printer already connected to network, connect this computer" option.

I can't print in B&W/grayscale even though the black cartridge is full. It keeps giving the message that the Yellow cartridge is empty, which it is. Why can't I print in black when the yellow cartridge is empty? This printer was good until this issue started.

Don't buy this printer! Uses tons of ink!!!

I HATE this printer!! Worst purchase ever! It was an impulse buy, looked good, got decent reviews, so I went for it. BIG mistake! This printer goes through tons of ink. But the worst part is, it WILL NOT print in grayscale if any of the color ink is out. You can not bypass this in any way.( it will let you bypass the color ink IF the color ink cartridges are full) All other printers I've owned could have no ink left in the color ink, and would still print with black ink if you selected grayscale. Not the XP-410!!! So this requires you to replace up to 4 color cartridges each time! (if all your color ink is out ) Also, the ink does not last long once replaced. It only prints a few documents before it requires new ink. We can go maybe a week before we need new ink and we've maybe printed out 10 pages!!! That's it!!! I would not buy this printer! I would give it no stars if that were an option.

Had trouble installing ink cartridges but finally got them in. The printer installed on home Wi-Fi network easily. However, have a scanner error message on the printer screen. EPSON support says the unit is defective and ,to their credit, they are sending a replacement.

Problems
on February 22, 2015

I have not called for tech support yet, but I will to try to resolve problems with the following.
1. I can't print an email when I am using Google Chrome. But if I use Internet Explorer, I can print emails. Why?
2. I can't scan to my computer when I scan from the machine. But if I open up the scanner soft ware from my desk top, I can scan to my computer. So I have to go back and forth to the machine if I an scanning multiple pages.
3. When I scan multiple pages, it scans the pages into separate files and no where can I find anything about scanning all the pages into one file so that I can email the documents with one attached file.
I don't know if these issues can be resolved. Please advise.
