My XP-410 Printer

I had to purchase a new printer/copier/scanner and wanted to stay with the Epson brand. I choose the XP-410, based on price and recommendations.
I am not very computer savvy, but I was able to easily set-up my new printer to my iMac. The Wi-fi set-up was easy, even I did it right the first time!!

I like the Epson Printer XP-410, However it just to to complicate to set up.There got to be a better way, please find it.

In all the years that I have installed and used printers- I have found that xp410 was easy to install -- instructions complete, easy to understand-- hope to enjoy-- I have had Epson over the years have alweays liked the product

I bought this printer because it is compact and performs all of the functions that I want. During initial setup, I had major issues with getting it to work properly with my WiFi setup - it would start to print a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and then stop in the middle of the print job with a message saying that the print job had failed. I tried numerous times to print with the wireless option, but every time had the same result. Perhaps it is because I have an old and slower router - I'm not sure? In frustration, I plugged in my USB cord, and now it works fine. Also the cost of print cartridges is, in my opinion, ridiculously high ( I could almost buy another printer for the cost of 4 new cartridges), but since I dont' need to print that much, I can deal with it.
