easy install

I was very skeptical reading the instillation chart/ directions. Followed them exactly, completed in about 30 min, and it works great. The trick is using a good quality paper. (On sale it is a deal)

The installation instructions for the XP-410.

I bought an XP-410 today and it took me over 4 hours to get it to print. The instructions are inadequate to do it easily. Disastrous.
But, Epson printers handle paper in such a way that I can use heavy card stock and can print on envelopes. No one else has a printer that can do that.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So far so good, set it up the same day with no problems nice print also very quiet and compact for its size considering I am printing from a home computer three laptops,two iPads and a iPod touch and could not be happier.Keep up the good work.Thanks

Not For Photos

My Epson R220 Photo Printer was a good but for me, it lasted for seven years but just wore out. I replaced it with an inexpensive HP-410 just to have a working printer. The 410 is a good little printer in many ways but it is NOT FOR PHOTOS. I will continue to use it until I can afford the Pricier Photo Printer. The HP-410 is a great little machine but just NOT FOR PHOTOS. EPSON is my choice for printers and I will not swerve from that. With what I have experienced in printers, Epson quality is unmatched.

Very compact, easy to use. For those who don't do a lot of printing this seems to be a perfect fit - reasonably priced, low cost ink. I would recommend it to a friend based on those features.

I would recommend this printer only after giving warnings. I bought this printer particularly because of it's small footprint. I have found it uses a lot of ink and ink is extremely expensive. First ink purchase cost me more than the printer. So far, my experience is a print job will cancel if the printer is not on and ready to print. Also, a print job will cancel if the printer is out of paper. jpg files seem to print as high quality photos, even if I specify draft quality. These could be all user issues. Scanning feature seems very capable, so that is a plus.

Great Little Printer

I was looking for a small printer/all-in-one, with emphasis on "small" because of tight workspace. The Epson XP-410 fits the bill perfectly. I don't use the fax function, but the print/copy/scan operations are just what I needed. Two-sided printing, even though not automatic, is a plus, and WiFi connectivity is a bonus. I love having all this capability in such a small package!
