Cute but not very functional

Prints ONE page at a time nicely. If you try to send more than 1 - even 2, it stops, gives you a printer error and dies. So if you have small, one page only jobs, then this is perfect. if you live in the real world and do real printing...not for you. I may return, still considering or keep as 'backup'. My first Epson, perhaps my last....
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this printer. I had some trouble installing and I called the support line and Edward was so patient helping me. Very happy with my purchase. Printer is nice and small and works fast and efficiently

Should be an extra half star...

Have used this printer primarily for our home business, plus photo printing for our own use for almost six months. It's our first Epson, and the way this little printer performs, it won't be our last.
It simply makes good prints day in and day out with none of the drama (jams, software glitches, etc) that I'd been fighting before.
Only bother is that we run so many prints it seems that I'm at the office supply joint every other week for paper and another ink cartridge. If you're going to do any serious amount of printing, you might as well save time and just buy the XL cartridges. They've been good for at least a ream of paper for us.
So why do I want another HALF a star?
I read 5 stars/Excellent as a goal, and good as this printer is, it's not quite perfect. Close, but there's always room for improvement.
It simply makes good prints day in and day out with none of the drama (jams, software glitches, etc) that I'd been fighting before.

Good but has flaws

This is a great printer/scanner once you get it to connect with WiFi. Mine powers down when not used and then when repowered does no connect with WiFi.
Have to turn off then back on to get WiFi connection.

ease of hookup

I had my printer out of box and running in about 5 minutes. It did all the work for me and that includes connecting to WIFI. Thank you EPSON. You asked me if I would recommend this printer to a friend and my answer is yes. This printer will be going to many states in the next couple of weeks. I have a GOPRO camera and I WILL BE SENDING THE STILL SHOTS TO MY EPSON XP-410. It will be in my Motor Home all the way.....Thanks again EPSON. See ya on the road.

Pleasant Surprise

I was apprehensive about switching to Epson since I had 14 years good experience with two generations of another brand. My research on a variety of MFPs did not impress me. I kept returning to the reviews for the Expression XP-410 Small-In-One and decided to take a chance based on my limited space and not needing all the "bells and whistles."
Set up was relatively easy though I did have difficulty finding the connectivity ports on the printer itself. Since I do not use Wi-Fi I needed to scavenge the USB connector from my dead printer in order to become operable.
I am still learning and getting used to this machine but am happy with the print quality and scanning capability. Have not printed photos though that will happen as the holidays approach.
Printer is not noisy and seems solid for its size.

This printer is perfect for my home space. The only issue I have is that when one color goes out. you can not print, even in black and white. But overall, great.

Very unhappy with the product since the day I bought it. Confusing. And now, after not even using it fir about 4 months, cannot get it to print-even after using Epson Install Disc. Nothing works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
