So Far, So Good

Today is 2/19/14, and I bought this printer last night.
It was light & easy to carry home on NYC buses.
The price was quite reasonable, it was purchased from a Staples location in Manhattan.
The setup is very easy.
When closed, it is very space saving.
It does have the traditionally EPSON top paper feed (that slides up) and the paper catch (that flips open so the printed material doesn't fly all over the place).
The touch screen panel is VERY convenient for those times when the printer is needed, and you cannot attach a printer cable - MOST important for checking ink levels, and ink replacement.

I have only printed from my laptop wirelessly, and it worked without a glitch.
I have downloaded the EPSON iPrint app for my Android OS devices (Galaxy S3 phone & Nexus 7 tablet) but I have not had the chance to use it.
I am anticipating the high quality EPSON prints, and the best part is - the ink for this printer is about 1/2 the price of the previous, non WiFi printer I have.
Lower ink costs = more quality EPSON prints.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is my far the easiest printer I HAVE ever installed. The wireless feature is wonderful. No more cords to follow through the maze! The colors are true. Prints very quickly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

1. The wireless functionality is spotty in terms of performance. I have my router 3 inches from the printer and many times the printer will not print. Rather, i get an error message asking me to check my network.
2. I tried to call your help desk when I was home last Sunday. However, I learned that you are not open on Sundays.
Retail price of ink cartridges is excessive.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst printer I have ever owned.
It keeps reading paper jam constantly, also
"Out of paper" when there is paper loaded.
Never has worked since the day I bought it.
I think I'll take my loss and buy another printer.

Need to update driver

Continuously receive error message after installing driver/software when printing. The program can't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem.

I, the least computer skilled person on Earth, set it up easily. I even enabled the wireless stuff. I feel so smart, but really it is this printer.
The printing is crisp, fast, and simple.
I strongly suggest this printer, and I have been through a bunch of them.
I love that you just buy the ink color you need.
I would recommend this to a friend!
