Not being a computer genius, it took about 2 hours to get this printer set up to my laptop and WI FI. I amazed myself that it worked.
One difficulty was to remove the TINY tabs of tape over the cartridge jets.

I purchased this model to replace a 10 year old and still functioning (but no air print capabilities) Epson PhotoR300. As I was able to print 4x6 vellum stock on the R300, I mistaken assumed I would have no problem on the XP410. It wasn't until I had it fully set up and connected that I attempted to print on the vellum with major failure. Going to the support website, I now see that it does not support vellum or transparencies. The speed and quality are still great for the rather inexpensive price, but this is a fail for this application for my personal use. Even higher end Epsons do not support this media. I hope that Epson will come up with a workaround for this. Therefore only 4 stars and recommended with reservations if you need to print vellum.

Installation was simple, was able to set up the iphones with ease. Not complicated. Have not yet tried all the whistles and bells

I purchased a new Epson printer yesterday because after 8 yrs. my old Epson no longer functioned. I never had a problem till now, so why would I change brands. Connected it yesterday, no problem. Printout was great!
