Does everything a home owner needs to have done and at a price that's affordable. I've bought bigger printers before and the ink was more expensive and they did no more than this mighty little all in one.

Quick setup wireless printer for Mac

The XP-410 is a wireless printer with all-in-one features. If you consider this to be a budget entry-level all-in-one, you will be impressed as I am. The unit takes up a smaller footprint than most other comparable all-in-ones, but I would not call it compact. Construction is not robust, but acceptable.
Wireless setup on a network is very straightforward - the only downside is that entering your wifi password is cumbersome without a keypad. Setup on a Mac is also simple and fast.
Printing is easy - quality is what you would expect from an entry level unit: if you are used to laser printers in a business environment, you will see obvious differences in ink density, rendition and sharpness. Cartridges are where are printer manufacturers make their money and this all-in-one is no different: I recommend you get the XL high capacity cartridges and make sure you set printing to BW as much as possible.
Scanning works - which for an entry-level unit is saying something positive. In my experience, all-in-one scanning is a weakness until you get to high-level biz hubs. The XP410 is in line with this experience: scanning works for 1-5 sheets, anything more and one will be frustrated as the process is slow and tedious, though reliable.
In summary - among all-in-ones, the Epson XP410 is a powerful and reliable unit among entry-level units. It works well in wireless mode with Macs.

I bought the Epson brand because my son has had very good luck with them. I chose the XP-410 because it had what I wanted in a small package.
It has worked very well for me.

Terrific Printer

This printer is exceptionally easy to use.
From initial wireless connection to its performance using all available functions it has been a welcome addition to our household.
Print is always sharp if using only black but color print is also very vibrant. Ease of paper loading and cartridge change are terrific features.
All in all, a great "little" (also a welcome feature), printer!
