So far, so good

I recently purchased this all-in-one to replace another Epson product that had served me well for a few years. The Stylus NX415 offered better quality for photos but I rarely print photos so I opted for a smaller, faster, quieter model. The XP-410 fits that bill. It is too soon to comment on ink consumption, but my previous model was an ink hog. I'd still recommend it though. So far this model meets all my needs.

Excellent Printer !
I will always buy the EPSON brand.
Easy to install and follow through.
Prints very clear and the colors are great.

Ok for some projects, not for others

I needed an inexpensive, top-feeding printer for doing labels and thought this Epson might fit the bill.
It does and it doesn't.
It grabs the paper accurately, which is the main reason I wanted a top-feeder, but the colors vary quite a bit from any of my other Epson I currently own or have in the past.....shades of pinks and reds especially.
I haven't used it for printing photos but as far as the print quality, it is pretty good - certainly good enough for my uses, but I was disappointed in the way the colors print.
I would not purchase this unit again or recommend it unless you simply need a cheap printer for occasional use or are printing out documents where the color does not matter.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When to unplug USB cord...

I followed all instructions diligently and patiently which I would strongly advise. At one point in the directions you are asked to connect your computer with a USB cord which is NOT included with the printer. Thankfully I had one from an old printer. The directions stated it would tell me when to unplug the cord, but it never did. So I waited until there was NOTHING left to do per the instructions and NOTHING being required from my laptop and I unplugged the USB. At that point a different set of instructions appeared on my laptop, I followed, and all went well and I am printing wirelessly.

Nice printer, difficult to program

I hoped the directions for this printer would be easier to understand when using with WI-FI. Still do not have ipad or iphone online. Not sure what to do next.
