Worst printer I ever bought. Will not buy Epson again as it can only print "screen grabs" and, and I was directed to this website to trouble shoot and "they" don't answer my question about only being able to print screen grabs in any of their FAQs… Live and learn… don't buy it .

I used to like EPSON, now I can honestly say that I don't trust them. This printer is the worst thing I have ever purchased. I purchased this to have an affordable printer for personal use. After only a couple of weeks, it stops working. I assumed that it wasn't printing because maybe it was out of ink, but I purchased new ink for it and cleaned the print heads, and pages are still printing blank. I can say without a doubt, I will NEVER purchase from EPSON again.

I previously owned a R800 Epson photo printer, it took 8 inks, which it always seemed one was going out. I Purchased this unit on a trip to buy ink. After looking at all the features, wifi, direct print, scanning, etc. I decided that this would suit my purposes better than just the photo printer. I was right in every way. First off, this unit is quit, I leave it on and in sleep for email wifi printing or whatever. 2nd, the print quality is remarkable considering 4 tanks instead of 8. The pixel peeking can be done and it still impresses with its gloss prints and even copies of gloss prints. The speed is quicker than my older unit even under fine quality printing. Paper cost is always going to be the same, but the dura-inks are much cheaper and having only 4 makes it a pleasant surprise. The wifi and all the additional features just make it an exceptional buy. Easy set up and use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Recently purchased xp-410 printer to use with my wifes Ipad because it is supposed to be airprint capable but regardless of what I do Ipad keeps saying no air printers found.

This printer will only print what is contained within horizontal strips, nothing between. Entire sections are missing and even narrative text is unrecognizable as such. Just looks like splotches in a row. This is with a new ink cartridge, after recharge, after reboot, after troubleshooting, each page is just a bunch of random smears. This printer is new, lasted for less than 10 pages of print.

I got this printer for a wireless printer and it will only print when hooked up with a USB. I installed it as instructed, uninstalled and reinstalled and tried the online help. In short this printer prints but not wirelessly. So save yourself the money and hassle and get a regular printer, as that is all this really is anyway.

I just needed a basic printer for things I copy from the internet. Most of the time this printer does that, but sometimes it hesitates until you press more buttons. Just making a copy of something is a multiple button task. Also, it is noisy at the beginning when it pulls down the paper. It sounds like it is falling apart. It does print well, but I wish I had purchased a different printer. I've always trusted EPSON brand, but this printer was a mistake. Since there is no actual defect, don't think I can return.
