XP-400 is junk

I had this printer for 9 months. I have not used in in 2 months. When I got it, i thought it was awesome and used it for all of my printing and scanning needs. the ink would dry up too fast, but I kept using it. I did not print heavily with it AT ALL but used it mostly for scanning old family photos. I stopped using it for a while because I ran out of things to scan. After getting some stuff out of storage, i turned it on and received the error "Printer Failure, turn the printer off and on again. If problem persists, contact technical support or visit Epson.com. I visited the site and found nothing. i also found little to no help on Google that addressed fixing this issue. I finally replaced all 4 ink cartridges and the error went away, but the black would not print at all. The website suggested I replace the cartridge (you are kidding, right) and the after cleaning, aligning the heads, etc, I still have the same issue. Please friends, don't buy this printer unless you plan on using it for a couple of months. My entire regard for Epson has reached a new low due to the purchase.

Printer problems

I received this Pinter as a gift. The person who gave me this printer highly recommended it. It was great for a while, but now I am having problems with it, it will not print at all. I need it to scan or make copies of important papers but it is not working for me. Hopefully you can help me with this problem. Thank you

Stopped printing black after minimal printing

Seems after googling (since having the printer problem of not printing black) that I should have avoided this printer all together. Like others, mine stopped printing black after minimal use (<50 pages) over the last 11 months. I've tried three different replacement ink cartridges and no luck - is a junk printer - save your money and avoid at all costs...

Will NOT feed paper reliably

With the exception of it's inability to feed paper properly this is an OK printer, however it will almost never feed paper properly. With fresh clean fanned paper in the feed tray it indicated paper out when prompted it feeds a couple of blank sheets and then indicated paper out again. Very disapointing.

A nightmare product

I needed a printer to print out orders on a daily basis - simple - not with this printer - it is always going offline disconnecting the wi fi - now my pc doesn't recognise it so I thought I could reinstall from the epson website - mmmmm - not that easy to find - is this a deliberate attempt my Epson to get us to buy a new one - I have only had this one a few months

Printer Scanner

I have never has a worse product experience. Software for scanning does not connect to the computer. Printing is unreliable. I am sharing this negative experience with as many colleagues as I know to save them the anguish from this company.
