This is a great little machine- easy to setup, easy to use, prints well, scans well, quiet, takes up little space and looks nice. I've had this printer for about 8 months. I like the many wireless connect features; I have printed from my android smartphone with no problems. I also like that the ink is not ridiculously overpriced.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I've had my XP-410 a couple of months now and while it does mostly what I want it to do, the software leaves a lot to be desired. Program menus are cumbersome compared to other brand printer I had which was much more user friendly.
Everytime I do a scan I have to deal with numerous menus before I can finish the job.
Can't find a place to tell it to print only with the black cartridge to avoid using up color inks on B&W printing jobs. Appears to use a great deal of color ink when most jobs are B&W. Doesn't seem like any time goes by before I'm getting low ink displays.
This is a few of my difficulties.

Epson XP-410 Small In One // Don't buy.

This thing is terrible. It doesn't communicate with your computer very well and most print outs are terrible in quality. It took forever to get it to sync up with my laptop by wi-fi, then the documents sent for print are of very poor quality. I haven't been able to print out 1 decent document since I bought it. I would not recommend this printer to anyone.

I brought the printer home and set it up and liked the quality of the prints so I printed 30 Christmas cards, scored them and cut them and made packages for the cards. I then decided to give one to a friend so I went to place it in an envelope and realized it would not fit. The card is 6" x 4". The print out is 6.25" x 4.25". I have to reprint all the cards and re cut them. The way I see it Epson owes me about $120 for my time, paper and ink.

Needed to go out to buy connect to computer cable to complete set up. That information should be on the box. Had to look up on line how to load paper. Still have not connected to my wifi. No directions for that in the book or the paper setup sheet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I cant get it set up. I tried on 3 dif computers ALL meet specification requirements. Over and Over I get two error messages 1) "The RPC server is unavailable", and then when its NOT that error message, its some "printer Spooler" issue. Only the scanner works I need a printer ASAP yesterday and still this one hasnt printed anything YET. I will try support YET has no setup troubleshooting info There is NO reference to these issues in troubleshooting which actually covers VERY LITTLE Like its a perfect machine........ I do know that Error messages can be generic and each may cover a wide range of issues too. I am soon giving up WONT BUY this Brand again.
