Requires service call after one week

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this product installed for one week and it has already failed. Apparently it is suffering from a known problem per the other reviews that occurs when there is a power outage. The microwave has an error F3-E0 which requires a service call. Since a temporary power failure is not uncommon this will be a major headache.
Pros: easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: Performance, Design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The installation of this unit was a bit of a challenge with the plumbing requirement to gain the functionality of the steam assisted heating. However, once installed this micro/oven combo has worked wonderfully for us. We love the design and practicality of the unit thoroughly.
Kitchen Aide products are definitely worth the price of acquisition.

Great appliance, but may have a lemon!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the features of our Kitchenaid Oven/Micro. However, we have had to have several service calls because of a "short" in the operating panel. This has now been replaced twice! Although it is currently working, we still have to be EXTREMELY careful when turning the oven light on or off. Pushing the light button will also turn OFF the oven as well if you're not very careful! We had a true "dinner party disaster" when I had eight dinner guests ready to sit down and eat only to find out our prime rib was cold and raw because the light button had turned the oven OFF!!! My poor husband had turned on the oven light and did not realize that had turned the oven off! What a nightmare that was!!! I would love to know if other people are experiencing this same problem, or if we just have a lemon!
