Steam Feature
on November 5, 2016

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this double wall oven when I remodeled my kitchen several years ago without realizing it had the steam feature. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this feature and use it all the time. Much healthier way of cooking with ease especially seafood. I am purchasing another home and had a waterline installed to accommodate this exact oven. When I went to make the purchase I found it was discontinued. PLEASE bring back, PLEASE! People really don't know what they are missing until they try it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was so excited to use this oven. Had it installed in my new kitchen. It works fine but it seriously takes forever to preheat. Makes cooking difficult.
Wish this did not happen.
Cons: length of preheating
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i hardly ever used my previous oven but now I use this all the time. It's accurate, fast, the steam-assist works really well, everything comes out very moist, yet crisp when needed (eg. chicken). I haven't found anything that I can complain about...

Beautiful Oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just got ours. Decided to take a chance and ignore all the bad reviewers. Oven is really attractive inside and out. Controls are easy and Temperature is accurate ( I measured it with an NIST traceable thermometer). We haven't tried the Steam feature yet because we're just on day 3 but I did some warm up time measurements and I seems to perform better than expected. To warm to 350F it took 14:27 on bake and 12:00 on convection. To warm to 425F it took 22:25 on bake and 21:00 on convection. Convection has a more powerful heating element so this is what I expected. Because it is a wall unit a ventilation fan will run on low speed to keep the cabinet cool while the convection fans activate in short duration to move the air within the oven. The cabinet fan is very faint and the convection fan is mildly audible. We're excited to try the different cooking modes. Bon-Appetite....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been extremely pleased with the double oven. The only drawback is the shelf with glides will not fit into the middle supports without stratching the enamel walls and getting stuck on the LED lights.
Pros: Performance, Innovative, easy to use, Convenient Features
Cons: impossible to move rolling shelf onto middle rack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kitchenaid steam oven was recommended to me by a close friend and fellow cook. I must admit that the steam function is taking me some time to learn and I am in search of more thorough instruction than is offered in the manual. Perhaps once I become more familiar with the steam feature I will offer a higher rating. It does cook quickly and fish stays moist. The ovens are nice and deep, but the top oven poses a problem for a short person like myself! I find that I need to reach into the top oven from the side because my arms aren't long enough to reach over the length of the door.
