Problem after problem

Have had to have the doors and ice machine replaced. Now the panel on the ice/water dispenser doesn't work. Am now currently ordering a new door seal for the freezer. Would never buy this product again.

Rusting!

Bought it 7 years ago. Started to rust after 5 years by the water dispenser. Last year seemed to run incessantly in the summer and could barely keep the freezer at the minimum temp. I know it's a few years old but other appliances have lasted me 10-15 yrs.

New thing after another on this fridge. It not even 4 years old and already died and need of replacement. We had it repaired less then 5 months of owning and still had stuff going. Not worth my dollars. Junk.

Water Dispenser Frozen...Permanently

Within one year the water dispenser line on the refrigerator froze. The repair man said try using a blow dryer to thaw it or maybe it would thaw in summer...there was nothing that could be repaired. Ridiculously poor design. Your products, regardless of low/mid/high range should be designed to last longer then 1-3 years. Our 3-year old GE dishwasher is broken now also. We will never buy GE again.

Dead at Four Years

We bought this for our second home, so the refrigerator was not heavily used. After four years it stopped cooling altogether. Cheaper to replace than to repair. Have been a loyal GE customer for the last two decades, but it is time to look at other manufacturers who don't rely on playing the extended warranty sales game.
