The refrigerator has great features and exterior easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The side by Side is very convenient and spacious, easy to clean and use. You find the shelves are removable for ease of cleaning and for adjustments. The energy efficient refrigerator is quiet. Our family enjoys the exterior water and Ice dispenser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It performs well when it works

We have had the refrigerator for six years. The icemaker has broken twice which has required service. The Precise Fill screen stopped working after year two. It still dispenses water and ice but there is no measurement. I guess I can replace the motherboard but no guarantee the replacement board will last longer.
The freezer side is very small. Difficult to store items without cutting them up or re-arranging them. The refrigerator side is nice. Good storage on the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's just an OK product

We have had this for 6 years now and we have had water dripping on the refrigerator side constantly (causing a stain on the inside walls) and also on to the wooden floors. No idea where the water is coming from or how to stop it.
The ice maker stopped working a while ago as well.
These appliances should have some level of diagnostics to help the users know where the possible issues could be rather than expecting a service call.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Worst refrigerater I have ever owned

I like it when it works. But it has been non-stop trouble for 10 years. Bad sensors, bad drain through/funnel, etc... 8 repair calls in 10 years. I have a bad sensor now, the bottom back vent/fan area ices up and we have to defrost it manually with a hair dryer every 2 weeks. Now GE tells me they don't make the part I need and they cannot repair it.
