Great appliance

I have had this freeze for about a year now with no problems. I have been so thankful for the alerts twice it had been slightly open and i would not have know if it wasn't making that noise. Also, it does make a little bitof noise but it is in the garage so it fine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great freezer

I love this freezer !! You can set the temperature and the readout is right on the door !I bought 1/2 a cow and it held all that meat plus what I already had in there. The temperature is even throughout the freezer whether you have food on the door or on the glass shelves.When we lost power for a day, none of the food thawed at all. I really am glad we bought this one.

Perfect for the garage

Bought this freezer for the garage and have not been let down. Meat does seem to get freezer burn. Love the programmable temperature setting and digital screen. Other features are great too - like the door lock - which is perfect if you have kids.
My only complaint is that it is a bit noisy, but that won't bother you if you install the unit in your garage or somewhere away from living space.
I would recommend this to a friend!

great garage freezer

if you are planning to have this in your house be aware that it is noisy. This is garage only feezer for us so who cares about the noise. So far no complaints and it has great storage.

Great freezer

We bought this to replace an old freezer we kept in the garage. Our intention was to move it into the house where we would have better energy usage. The freezer is attractive and extremely quiet. We love the arrangement of the shelves inside -- obviously a lot of thought went into how to arrange them for usability. We also like the external readouts showing internal temperature.

Love the freezer

I love my upright freezer. Previously had a chest freezer for 30+ years so nice not to be upside down finding my food. Able to keep food organized better and love the glass shelves--no crumbs fall to the bottom of the freezer. I've had it for almost a year and have had no problems. The temp on the front of the freezer is great. At first I noticed it was a little noisier running than my chest style, but as it's in the laundry room, I don't even notice it at all now. As I'm a cleaning freak, I use a bathroom towel ready for the laundry and wipe the top of the freezer every couple of weeks. Would think twice before purchasing black appliance again, but it is sharp looking.
