[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GPX is the brand CD player with FM radio 60 seconds skip protection CD player earbuds included but there’s no batteries that are included with this AAA needed to power up .

Stops playing the CD after a couple minutes.

I bought this to use at night to listen to sleep tapes with my headphones, but now it stops playing the CD even though the batteries are fully charged. The instructions manual is useless, and I'm ready to throw the player in the trash! Do I have to use it on a flat surface, or is it defective?
