Keeping it for myself

I bought this player so I could play children's songs for my young granddaughter. But, being out of touch, I didn't realize I needed a speaker. (she is too young for earphones).
Of course my son scolded me for being "old" and buying the wrong thing. Oh well! I am keeping the player for myself as I have tons of CDs that I still enjoy.

You get what you pay for

This product is a bit lacking in "fit and finish." For example, the door for the batteries does not close snugly and considerable force was needed to force the AC/DC adapter cord into the unit the first time. Otherwise the mechanics are fine and it delivers a good sound.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No LCD display of radio frequencies!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Player has decent radio and cd player, however, it does not show the radio tuning frequencies on the LCD display. If this feature was added, the player would receive all five stars.
