No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I ordered because when I was a kid I used to watch my older sister that she had one, and then I grew up and I love to buy cd's, but I didn't have where to hear them, so I decided to buy one and it was the best decision of my life. I really love It.

Easy for my child to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is 27 years old but has a low IQ with Down syndrome. He loves to watch and dance to Barney dvds. I bought him this cd player for Christmas and some sing -a -long cds of live Barney shows. I was able to teach him how to turn it on and off, load it, push play, pause, and stop without my help within five minutes. He is having a ball dancing and singing to the songs, plus he is getting great exercise!
