Problems

Love the design of the side-by-side with the IQ-Touch Controls. Fingerprints do not show on the stainless steel finish. However, it does scratch easily. The vegetable and meat drawers sometimes freeze contents even when keeping the refrigerator above the recommemnded temperature. The refrigerator has been in operation for about sixteen months. Twice this week, the ice dispenser and the water dispenser would not shut off which leads to a mess. Shouldn't the product operate at top rate for more than sixteen months? Hopefully, we will be able to get an appliance repairman soon, but know that we will have to pay for the fix as the refrigerator is over one year old.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful appearance

I was a little hesitant to buy this fridge because of some bad reviews, but decided to bite the bullet because I wanted the higher grade SS (magnets don't stick to it ) and I wanted the stainless steel sides
I've had no trouble with it and am satisfied.
There are a few little quirks to it.
You have to get used to the icemaker and be carefull when you pull out your glass or you will get little ice splinters that fly out on the floor.
I've checked the temp from shelf to shelf and there is a little variation. The top shelves is warmer than the next shelf.
I've had a little problem with produce freezing on the left side of the drawer where the vent is located. I've closed the vent as much as I could and turned up the fridge and that seems to have helped.

Twice is has alarmed and shut itself off.
Luckily, both times I've been home. I do worry that if I was on vacation and it happened it would ruin everything in the fridge.

I do wish it was easier to get the drawers out for cleaning.
If I only want to clean the bottom drawer, I have to take out all the shelves.

Otherwise I like the inside of the fridge. I especially like that the shelves don't have those wide plastic no spill strips around them . I always hated that about my last fridge.

Ice maker

The ice comes flying out and all over the floor! And where is the little tray the captures residual water drips or spills after dispensing the water? It just puddles and then drips down the front of freezer, so now I have loveley streaks that I just can't seem to get out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This refrigerator has a electrical problems. We have to change the electric panel three times and still having problems. I do not recommended.

While the appearance and overall function of the refrigerator is good, it has the absolute worst ice maker I have ever seen on a unit. The ice never dispenses properly and there is always ice that ends up on the floor. The ice release lever is not designed properly and is set too far back into the unit. If you use a small diameter glass, you need to be careful or the water will totally end up on the floor. The LCD display stopped working properly on the freezer after just 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezes too much

This is my second bad experience with Electrolux. Returned the French door model and got this one. Big mistake. I wanted to match my other appliances but I should have gone with a different brand. Factory default temperature is 37 degrees on the refrigerator side. On my unit, top shelf registers 50, next shelf is 40, middle shelf is ok, temps in the drawers is 25. Freezes everything.

Unit looks great in our kitchen since it is completely stainless on all sides. The front door controls are simple, yet robust in setting all the features. The ice maker quietly makes ice and we've yet to have issues with ice tasting bad; I'm sure tha carbon filter and water filter make this possible. Has great inside illumination to see everything.
However, there are a few things wrong with this unit. Maybe just a lemon for us.
1. Right door makes a popping sound when opening and closing. Adjusted a number of times to alleviate the noise with no success.
2. Top crisper drawer freezes products sitting in the far left corner, regardless of the crisper drawer control setting from the freezer.
3. Top crisper drawer does not like to stay attached to the left hand rail.

one problem after another

bought this fridge. as soon as delivery men left the alarms went off,the digital display is not working properly. ice maker takes a week to make a tray, and water barely comes out of the dispenser.(our water pressure is fine). service came over to check it and said i need a new fridge as this one is not even insulated completely as i have condensation running down the back of the fridge. hope the replacement is better.
