Working well

We bought this device primarily for web access to Netflix and other online services. Setup was easy and quickly connected to Pandora and Netflix. It did hang up during a software update but worked fine after restarting it.
Pros: easy setup
Cons: concern about hangup during software update

Worst electronic ever purchased

I have had this player for several years and it's issues continue to get worse. Initially it would just turn on and off whenever it wanted to... This turning my smart TV on. It has now started acting like it is possessed... Turning on, Open and closing rapidly, and repeating. I thought since this brand was high quality, I would not have these issues. I've checked for "update" multiple times including before this post. I've watched it turn on and off about five times just now while trying to get my blue ray to play. At this point I think it would be best to just throw off a building and buy a better brand. Do not buy.

I hate this player

I am on my second one. The first one started giving me problems on day one. Netflix freezes all the time, it's slow to respond to the remote and that doesn't make me very happy. It wouldn't give me back my blue ray at first. After some time away from this machine I came back and it finally gave it to me. This only took 4 hours of waiting. I took it back and exchanged it. Already Netflix is freezing again. Going to be taking this one back and get something different. I would never buy this one again not give it to anyone as a present. It's a horrible machine and it's not worth the month I spent on it.
Pros: look nice
Cons: freezes on netflix, started having issues on day one

Watching a movie on here is fine but trying to stream anything, which is one of the products big "up-sell" is ridiculous. It worked fine for awhile and then Netflix would freeze up, so we would unplug and re-plug. Soon that didn't even work and we gave up watching anything other than actual DVD's. Then, one day after finishing a DVD, I went to eject the disc, and the entire thing froze up. I spent at least an hour going through my user manual and looking at this website to try to find warranty info, thinking maybe my blue rat player was defective and came up with absolutely nothing. It would be one thing if the product was difficult, but trying to get it fixed is an even bigger let down.
Pros: good quality when it works
Cons: just about everything else
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This product has awesome features

I have only had it for one day but I am very impressed with the features and load time. Youtube loads up nicely and works very well and Vudu also works awesome too. The blu ray player downloaded the update pretty fast and so far every blu ray movie loads up pretty fast every time.
Pros: fast blu ray load time, youtube and other features loads up quickly too, fast update download speed
Cons: none so far

Don't waste your money

WORST piece of garbage I've ever owned. Useless for streaming Netflix. You can watch about one episode of a TV show or half a movie before it will freeze up and make the playback extremely choppy. The only way to remedy this is to turn it off and on again, and many times it will freeze completely and the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. The remote is also garbage and many times I will have to hit a button multiple times in order for it to register while using Netflix. Why even bother having an option for Netflix if the design clearly can't handle it?
I will be extremely happy to buy a new player and drive over this one with my car.
Pros: nothing
Cons: everything

Completely failed on 3rd day

My wife got this as a gift from work and we started using it that day. Initial impressions were good, but I noticed it responded slowly to the remote. The Search Feature was also hard to use due to the slow response to the remote.
After a day of use, I noticed it was locking up while using Netflix, Youtube and Pandora. Tonight, it made a funny noise and completely locked up. I tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but it never worked properly. I unplugged it for an hour and plugged it back in and my TV said "No Signal" from the player.
My wife is taking it back and we are not likely to get this BluRay player again.
Pros: looks nice.
Cons: slow response to remote, failed within 3 days, frequently locked up., search feature was cumbersome

Terrible experience

We have had this product for 2 months-- within the first week the connection with Netflix and Vudu would freeze frequently while watching shows. By then, we had already tossed the box and receipt and were totally stuck with the player.
After 2 months, the product stopped working altogether. Worst piece of electronics I've bought in a decade.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
