Great radio SHTF, or even camping and the ranch!

Have been very happy with this radio. It's been used at the campsite to keep track of stragglers and the kids, as well as chatting with hunters in their individual blinds from the ranch house. It resides in my truck since it has a backup hand-wound powersource.

I just got one a couple months ago and i think it works well but the range go's up to 10 to 11 miles but me and my brother went to Montana and i brought my base camp radio with me and we talked for like 2 hours

I have some land with no cell service or internet access, so my friends and I had been using little handheld radios to communicate. I purchased this to replace my handheld and it works SO MUCH BETTER! the fm radio and flashlight are a great bonus also. My friends are all purchasing one of these for themselves; they can't let me out do them! Great product.
