Awkward

The ice bin is in the back of the freezer, hard for kids to reach. Unit is noisy. Freezer drawer is heavy, kids are constantly not closing it all the way. Configuration of shelves in fridge is awkward. Not many choices for configuration. Water dispenser is very hard to depress in in an awkward spot to fill a pitcher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful fridge & features, quiet, simple, air circulation is excellent - We've had ours for 2+ years with no problems. The door shelves for the milk could be a tad bigger - it doesn't always fit depending on the shape of 1 gallon containers.

We purchased our Whirlpool Gold refrigerator last spring prior to a complete kitchen renovation. Friends have the same unit so we knew we were purchasing a quality product. We wanted a French door refrigerator with freezer on the bottom, but didn't want precious inside storage space lost to water and ice in the door. This model is PERFECT! Cold water dispenses easily by pushing a button on the left inside wall, and the ice dispenser is located on the top shelf of the freezer. Both work extremely well. The refrigerator and freezer are both spacious with adjustable shelves in the fridge area. This model also has a shallow drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator for cold cuts, cheeses or platters. The stainless steel outside is stylish and easy to clean. Handles are very sturdy. The seal is tight. Our only 'complaint' if you will is that both doors must be open in order to access the vegetable drawer on the right as the seal on the left door slightly overlaps the left edge of the drawer. We love our Whirlpool Gold refrigerator and recommend it without reservation.

Very pleased with the sleek style. To have a water dispenser feature inside the unit is great...it does not chop up the front outside door of the unit. Enjoying my Whirlpool kitchen.

Good refrigator overall, but too loud

I really like this refrigerator, especially the water dispenser on the side of the left wall.The only not so good things are that it make too much noise and the right side door pops and stays open when you close the left side door. I am always double checking and most of the time the right side door is not closed and sealed.

we love this frigarater all of the new sheifs and doors also having the freeser on the bottom you can see everything in there that makes so much easyer

Some flaws

It is an ok model. The handle comes off of the freezer quite often. The long meat/cheese drawer is flimsy and hard to close.
