We inherited this appliance from the previous owner of the house. It has a good layout and intuitive controls. It leaks a lot of water though due to well known issues with the defreeze evaporator lines. It was a quick fix though using Youtube explanations. I'd have expected Whirlpool to send us a free replacement part when I called them, but that did not happen.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only 4 years old and the refrigerator stopped working. Freezer still works

Love the french doors

I have had the frig a month. I love the French doors. I do wish the door finish was like the sides and top. It is a dimpled type finish and holds up much better than the glossy doors. That part is very disappointing for it seems to scratch easily.

So far, this is a great fridge! Keeps things nice and cold. The drawers do seem to want to not close all the way but no biggie. Ice maker water refill is a little loud.

I have had this for a month. It is abouth the same size as our old side by side but seems a lot bigger. Drawer type freezer is working out better than I thought.

We have had our new fridge for about a month now, and we love it!!! Although all the space inside shows how little food we have to fill it, lol!! We decided to not use all the drawers to allow a larger space on the shelves, and it works great that way. It is a BIG fridge, so make sure you are prepared with the correct space to put it in! Took awhile to get used to it, but now can't imagine not having it. There is a lot of freezer space too.
