Fantastic Product!

We have been well pleased with our new refrigerator! The french doors open up a space large enough to store most anything you could want to refrigerate, and the large freezer is perfect for bigger things, such as large containers of ice cream.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I only have a few dissatisfactions but would not trade it because of them. The overall refridge is excellent and was an excellent value! I wish that the stainless did not scratch so easily and did not get so many finger prints and water streaks from wet hands. Other than that which I am living with, just takes a lot of cleaning. I am thrilled with the refridgerator! the pop dispenser in the door is one of our favorite features and also the bottom long drawer is really nice.
I would recommend this to a friend!

possible design flaw!

The Whirlpool French door refrigerator seems to be a very good product and has many useful and good features. The only problem is with the freezer door and inner sliding shelf. The problem which we have encountered several times, is if you close the main freezer door without first closing the inner shelf it will over freeze.( excessive frost )Restated the inner shelf must be pushed in first, the close the main freezer door. You will have problems if you use the main door to close the sliding shelf.

Many repairs needed

We have only had this fridge for 2 years and we've already had numerous problems with it. Like others have said, the freezer leaks and creates inches thick slabs of ice at the bottom that will cause water leaks onto the kitchen floor. When it was happening, we researched it and found many many people complaining about the same thing, whirlpool even sells some part that can "fix" it, IF you know how to attach it. Now our fridge part isn't cold, no matter how high we set it.. It's always been something with it since we got it. VERY disappointing. We wanted a fridge that would last years and years like they used to. We thought Whirlpool was a good brand, that has been around for ages, and it's been a huge disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a good choose

I bought this fridge about 4 yrs ago now. It worked great the first 2 or 3 yrs of having it. Im now having problems with the freezer working but not the fridge. Just in the last 30 days my husband has had to lay on his back with a hair dryer and defrost the freezer so the fridge will get cold again. NOT GOING TO BUY THIS BRAND AGAIN.

The ice maker and water dispenser has a filter, which makes the water taste better then my Pur filtered water jug. overall I recommend this product

I love it. It looks great. The refrigerator portion is a convenient height, no more kneeling on the floor searching for something in the rear on the bottom shelf. I like being able to arrange the shelves as suits me. The humidity control on the drawers makes veggies and fruit stay fresh longer. The door storage is ample and holds gallon mike containers. My husband likes the can dispenser. All in all a great product.
