Best Samsung phone yet

So far it has been the best phone I have ever had wouldn't change it. I like that it's big but not to big, very much like how easy it is to use you can see what your doing. Great job Samsung looking forward to your next big thing thanks.

Stripped down version of the original

Made the mistake of buying one. Bringing it back tomorrow! Smaller screen makes it less Mega. No IR blaster which I assumed it had. I used on the original frequently to control my television.. Seems less solid than last years model. I do not understand why it is less of a Mega that it should be in the time line of progress. Makes no sense. I love the original and was really looking forward a new model that would give a progressive appeal only to be let down by backwards engineering and omission of hardware and feature that made the original a warm success driven by an honest reputation of having more bang for the buck.Too bad this "new model" does not meet the same prospects that made my buying choice for the original such a pleasurable surprise. What a disappointment. On a positive note it is a bit more responsive than the original and the numbers in the specs do say that the screen is is clearer than the original but I believe the original had a fantastic display so I don't really see the difference.
Pros: 6 inch display
Cons: Did not meet expectations, sub par design
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I upgraded from the mega to this device. I like the fact that it's not as bulky as the mega but has more functions and ease of use.

I had my the first generation Mega for 3 years and loved it. When that one gave out I was able to get a hold of the Mega 2 and am enjoying it just as much as my first one. Have luved both models of this great phone!
