This phone has a defect with the camera

As stated above I had not only my phone replaced under warranty because of the constant message camera failed when opening camera. My mother has exact same phone and now not two months later my mom is having hers replaced because of the same problem. I looked it up on Internet and many others have the same problem.
Pros: Inexpensive, Realistic color, Bright display, Built-in speakers, Lightweight
Cons: defected camera
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love Samsung quality but...

What has happened to it? From the beginning, the speaker mic will not be clear to the listeners, even from just a few inches from my mouth, everybody tells me I am breaking up, in a quiet environment as well! Also, the screen will randomly have several horizontal lines across it, if I close the main page and go to standby, then swipe back in, they go away. The loud speaker is not very loud in my opinion, and the ear speaker could use a higher volume as well. The camera takes pretty nice pictures, after you patiently wait for the focus to get done. The processor seems slow overall. Many apps that came on the phone hesitate before making a move. The screen is very brittle. Just a lite drop from inches away will crack it if it is anything harder than cloth. On the bright side, love the 6" screen. Nice color. On the AT&T side, hate the updates taking away the personal color and themes with the latest updates and replacing them with nasty pastels. Need options here to change color themes from the factory to overide ATT stuff. Nuff said. Hope Samsung is listening, I keep buying your phones. Peace

You must give this phone a try. It's awesome. Fast, large screen and for someone with vision problems, it doesn't get any better.

The phone was great for about 8 months then it started to drop calls, freezes up a lot, screen would go black about 3 to 4 times a day had to remove battery . I'm glad I got the Samsung Galaxy s7. It's great very fast great battery life features are awesome very happy.

Decent phone

My first phone went back within 9 months. Replacement phone has already had to be reset to factory setting to hopefully correct a problem. So discouraging. But on the plus side, I do like all the features and the screen is large enough for me see at my age of 70.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight, larger screen size
